Lloret

Spelthoren Atoms were awarded money through the Youth Opportunities Funding to send two teams to Lloret in Spain. This was to participate in an International Tournament.

The boys received training, personalised kit bags, polo shirts, warm up tops, airline tickets and 3 star hotel accommodation.

For some of the players it was their first visit to Spain.

Everyone enjoyed themselves including the parents who were also able to travel but at their own expense.

It was a fantastic opportunity for all involved. The trip certainly produced some memorable moments and some great club support.

The elder boys finished 2nd

And the younger team finished 4th.

It was good experience to play foreign teams . It showed us all how the game can be played differently on the continent.
